We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery. This role requires expertise in mechanical systems, technical drawings, and precision tools to ensure optimal machine performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, and assemble metal parts for machinery, including pressure wash machines, grass cutters, and truck-mounted steam cleaning machines.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment, including hot water machines, scrubbers, edge trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers.
• Set up and operate machining tools to press, cut, grind, drill, and shape metal components.
• Dismantle machinery, remove and repair defective parts, and reassemble equipment for optimal performance.
• Install and test hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure proper function within mechanical equipment.

• Minimum 3-year work experience in a similar capacity
• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Fitting or equivalent
• Experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
