The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to start immediately on an initial 3 month temporary contract.

In this position you will be joining a well-respected and highly regarded employer of choice in their sector, boasting an outstanding office location easily accessible by car or public transport.

This position is offered as an initial 3 month temporary contract with an immediate start required. The role has the potential to transition to permanent employment, although not yet guaranteed.

The Role

Working within a friendly team environment your varied role will include:

Processing invoices in the accounts payable system
Process manual invoices in the general ledger and create intercompany journals where required
Review invoice authorisations
Reconciling supplier statements with invoices
Payment of staff reimbursements
Reconciliation of monthly credit card statements
Reconciling of petty cash including checking receipts, authorisation, coding and posting in the general ledger

Your Profile

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 3 years' experience in a high-volume transactional environment. You will possess an intermediate level of Excel skills (pivot tables/ V-lookups), with an aptitude to learn new finance systems quickly.

Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.
