At the forefront of the venue is a beautiful and dynamic cocktail bar offering a mix of classic twists, exciting new beverage ideas, small bites and share plates. If you are someone with fine dining experience, top notch organization, and people skills, we would love to hear from you.
Ministry Of Crab
Ministry of Crab is a renowned international brand established in Sri Lanka in 2011, and now has multiple locations across Asia. Ranked in Asia's Top 50 best restaurants between 2015-2021, Ministry of Crab will now soon be another addition to the Melbourne food scene serving locally sourced Mud crabs and prawns from Northern Territory and Queensland.Our cooking style encompasses Japanese techniques with Sri Lankan spices and Mediterranean flavours.
As a Host or Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, dealing with customers in a polite and friendly manner, understanding and explaining the menu, working efficiently and confidently with the SevenRooms reservation system, and will work closely with our Venue Manager, Supervisors and other team members to ensure that all actions and tasks are completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner.You will also be responsible for assisting floor staff, maintaining clean and organised workstations and have a good understanding of, and being hands on with all HACCP procedures.
The ideal candidate for these roles will have previous experience working in a premium dining restaurant and will be passionate about creativity and innovation of promotional events, specials, and new ideas. You must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.You should also be able to work well within a team without supervision.
Requirements:- Previous experience working in a fine dining restaurant
- Strong customer and interpersonal skills and table side manner
- Good communication skills and the ability to guide junior members of a team
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
