We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time Process Technician to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Northam, Western Australia 6401.
The salary offered is $73,150 per annum plus superannuation.
Duties and responsibilities
The Process Technician will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:
- Design and troubleshoot production processes for fabric shelters including the start-up and shut down of the process, ensuring smooth transitions between production cycles.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production machines and equipment.
- Optimise production process by streamlining workflow, reducing waste and improving equipment efficiency.
- Diagnose problems in the production process by analysing production data, inspecting materials and monitoring equipment performance.
- Safely operate the process plant to ensure operations are maintained at the most efficient level and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Liaising with metallurgical and maintenance personnel to schedule routine maintenance.
- Conduct routine monitoring duties, including sampling, inspection and record keeping in the shift logbook.
- Report on safety, plant performance and raise technical issues with the goal of optimising plant productivity.
- Provide additional support to maintenance trades and relief operation as required.
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Previous work as a process technician is highly desirable
- Attention to detail in supervision of operations
