The Company
An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join an established and leading healthcare provider. As a Finance Business Partner, you will develop strong, trusted relationships and will act as an interface between Finance and operational managers as well as other stakeholders to ensure sound financial management.You will support decision making, accurate budgeting and forecasting, business case development and facilitate the achievement of strategic outcomes for your stakeholders. You will be commercially savvy, comfortable in the detail and able to communicate effectively to build strong internal relationships across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Provide financial insight and advice to key stakeholders to optimise financial performance of business unit
- Drive and contribute to optimal financial decision-making through the provision of timely, accurate and useful information to management.
- Undertake financial analysis of operational strategies, identifying opportunities to improve financial results.
- Lead and develop robust financial modelling to support business cases and new initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement of organisational processes, procedures, systems and reporting.
- Assist the end-to-end budget process with relevant analysis and commentary surrounding their financial impact.
- Assist the month end reporting processes ensuring accuracy of results and compliance with internal and external accounting standards.
- Monitor the impact of operational activities on financial performance and variance from budget.
- Manage and continuously build key stakeholder relationships.
- Lead and drive proactive approach to financial problem solving and decision making.
- Other tasks as required.
Your Profile
To be considered for this role you will be fully CA/CPA qualification with a 6+ years' professional experience, ideally your most recent role will be in a Finance Business Partnering/Management Accounting capacity. You will be innovative, flexible, pro-active and have excellent problem-solving skills.You will be a natural communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across the organisation. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Whilst previous experience in healthcare/not-for-profit environment is advantageous, this role is a great opportunity for someone looking to enter the healthcare sector for the first time.
