DC Employment Services Pty Ltd, hiring for the iconic DOC Pizza and Mozzarella Bar, Carlton, a renown and reputable Italian restaurant in the iconic Italian precinct of Carlton is now seeking a Cook to join their team. With ambient indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant delivers authentic Italian cuisine and experience.
Working in a well-established kitchen, your responsibilities will include:- Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food
- Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
- Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding sauces and garnishes
- Ensuring quality of ingredients and dishes
- Adhering to health regulations when managing food
- Contributing to menu planning as required
The ideal candidate will present with:
- Relevant Certificate III or IV qualification. At least 3-years employment experience will be considered in lieu of qualifications
- 2 years full time employment in a similar role
- Ability and experience working autonomously in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
- Passionate and experience with Italian cuisine
- Ability to deliver high quality meals
- Fully conversant with Health & Safety regulations
Flexibility to work split shifts, including evenings and weekends
