Kindoo! Family Flexible Care is currently seeking applications for casual and/ or part time Certificate III and Diploma qualified Educators to join our award-winning service in Ferntree Gully.
Using your solid qualifications and experience gained to date, the successful candidates will provide outstanding and passionate service that changes the lives of children, provide meaningful engagement with families and positive relationships with the educational team.
The positions are offered on a casual and / or part time basis working Monday to Friday. We're flexible!
Above award hourly rates, discounted child care, access to regular training and a professional and caring organisation with capable management are all available to the right candidates. Traineeships to upskill from Cert III to Diploma may also be on the cards for the right applicant.
Key responsibilities:
- Implementing the learning program including setting up, running and engaging children with planned learning activities
- Supporting the children with their daily physical, emotional and other developmental needs in a nurturing, positive and proactive manner
- Imparting knowledge through fun, supportive play based learning
- Addressing cultural or special needs - emotional, physical and educational
- Documenting children's growth and play based learning opportunities with daily learning stories and reflections
- Liaising with parents to provide daily feedback and support
- Assisting with the growth, development and smooth functioning of the Room while working closely with your co-educators in a happy team environment
- Adhering to the Childcare Law and Regulations, National Quality Framework, Child Safe obligations and Kindoo! Policies
Key skills and experience- requirements:
- Certificate III qualification or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care at a minimum
- Great interpersonal and communication skills including reading, writing and basic computer/ app skills
- A desire to be part of a fun and supportive team while growing your skills
- Ability to exercise patience, warmth and nurturing when interacting with children
- A caring and approachable nature with high professional standards
- Working With Children Check along with First aid in an ECEC setting and police check required
