The Company
Robert Half is recruiting for a boutique technology firm seeking an experienced part-time Bookkeeper / Accountant. This position will allow you to take ownership of the financial reporting and compliance of this growing company.
Our client prides themselves on delivering exceptional technology services to their high-profile client base.
Together with the support of a small and friendly team you will be tasked with the timely & accurate preparation of the company's financial reports. Additionally you will be responsible for meeting the organistion's statutory and compliance commitments while given a free reign to improve processes and procedures.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO your varied duties will include:
- Timely and accurate preparation of monthly/quarterly/year-end reporting
- P&L and Balance Sheet preparation
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Debtor management
- Payroll including compliance
- Annual leave and long service leave management
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- ATO reconciliations
- BAS reporting
- Month end journals including balance day adjustments
- Xero

Your Profile
To be successful you will need to- Essential to possess excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication (written and oral) skills
- Ability to produce timely and accurate reports
- Be self-managing
- Confident with a number of accounting systems, with preferably Xero experience
