Role Summary
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Store Person and Delivery Driver to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks associated with the management and movement of goods within our store, as well as delivering orders to customers.
The role is permanent full-time, requiring 5 working days per week. The hours being a standard 38 hour week, between of 6am to 2:30pm, with Fridays finishing at 12:pm. The wage is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Tasks and Duties IncludeThe role will include various tasks associated with
- Unloading and receiving goods;
- Packing and sending orders;
- Stocking shelves;
- Moving pallets and goods;
- Delivering orders, safely and punctually to customers;
- Customer service both in person and answering phones.
- Previous experience in warehousing, particularly in packing and managing goods.
- Valid driver's licence is mandatory.
- Previous experience in the fire or plumbing industry is preferred but not essential.
- Forklift licence is preferred but not essential as training can be provided to the successful candidate.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and order tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
- Physical aptitude for stock handling and vehicle loading and unloading tasks.
- A proactive attitude and attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
