The BDR Manager will be responsible for managing and coaching a team of BDRs tasked with generating and qualifying leads to drive sales pipeline growth.

This role requires a strong leader who can optimize outbound sales strategies, provide mentorship, and help the team meet and exceed performance metrics. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and leadership to align strategies and ensure the BDR team’s efforts are contributing effectively to the company’s growth targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Oversight – Manage daily activities, set performance goals, and ensure adherence to sales processes.
  • Coaching & Development – Conduct one-on-one meetings, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Onboarding & Training – Equip new hires with product knowledge, sales techniques, and company expectations.
  • Sales Skills Enhancement – Work with sales enablement to provide training in cold calling, email outreach, and negotiation.
  • Performance Tracking & Improvement – Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and implement strategies to boost results.
  • Reporting & Insights – Present performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for growth.
  • Strategic Sales Execution – Align BDR activities with outbound prospecting strategies and overall sales goals.
  • Lead Qualification & Pipeline Management – Identify high-value prospects and maintain an accurate sales pipeline for forecasting.

Skills and Experience:

  • Leadership & Team Management – Inspire, motivate, and build trust within the team while addressing individual needs with emotional intelligence.
  • Effective Communication – Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration, provide clear direction, and support team development.
  • Sales Expertise – Proven success in sales with deep knowledge of qualification methodologies (BANT, MEDDPICC) and buyer personas.
  • Process & Technology Proficiency – Skilled in CRM systems, sales tools, and tracking performance to optimize sales processes.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking – Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop data-driven sales strategies.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Quick thinking to tackle challenges, refine sales approaches, and drive continuous improvement.
