Key Responsibilities:

• Coaching and Instruction:
• Train, coach, and instruct participants in futsal, using performance analysis to develop their abilities and tactical understanding.
• Plan and implement structured training programs aimed at improving player fitness, technique, and game performance.
• Game Day and Competition Preparation:
• Oversee team selection, game strategies, and performance assessments during matches and competitions.
• Provide real-time feedback and adjustments to players to improve their individual and team performances.
• Player Development:
• Identify areas for improvement and create personalized development plans to enhance player skills and overall growth.
• Foster a positive learning environment to promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Health and Safety Compliance:
• Ensure all training and game-day activities adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Monitor the physical and mental well-being of players during training and competitions.
• Administrative Duties:
• Manage player attendance, training schedules, and equipment inventories.
• Assist with organizing and delivering futsal camps, clinics, and holiday programs.
• Community Engagement:
• Maintain strong relationships with players, their families, and the local community.
• Participate in club events to promote futsal and the Feenix Futsal Club.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Qualifications:
• AQF Certificate III, including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV, or at least three years of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 3 or 4).
• Diploma or Certificate in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field.
• Futsal-specific coaching certifications (preferred).
• Registration or licensing may be required (depending on region or state requirements).
• Experience:
• A minimum of 2-3 years of coaching experience in futsal or other team sports.
• Proven ability to coach and instruct youth, helping develop their technical skills and overall performance.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of futsal techniques, game strategies, and player development.
• Effective communication skills to motivate and engage with young athletes.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple teams, training sessions, and match schedules.

Desirable Attributes:

• Passionate about youth sports development.
• Multilingual proficiency in Portuguese (preferred due to our Brazilian community).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for training sessions and competitions.
