What you'll do
In the Product Manager - Cartology Promoted Products (CPP), you’ll be responsible for the CPP product vision through a commercially beneficial product roadmap across both web and mobile channels.
Our Sponsored Search product has built its outstanding success on understanding our customers’ need for relevant search results and supplementing this with highly relevant products and offers from our suppliers. Therefore, you’ll come in with a solid understanding of the commercial opportunity that exists at the intersection where customers are looking for relevant products, and suppliers are wanting to create visibility for their products.
This role will see you partnering with internal and external parties to identify and create opportunities for new inventory, continuously improve product and platform performance capabilities, and deliver on client expectations.
Key accountabilities include:
- Executing the product vision through commercially beneficial product roadmap, along with ownership of product performance improvements and the appropriate stakeholder engagement to deliver outcomes.
- Leading operational excellence strategy for CPP and growth of revenue in channel.
- Identifying inventory expansion opportunities based on a solid understanding of the client’s objectives and opportunities on Woolworths.com.au and Woolworths app.
- Collaborating with the Product team and broader Cartology and WDigital teams to ensure the provision of positive experiences and results to our clients.
- Continuing the market research and education to keep pace with product updates, industry changes, and sales knowledge.
What you’ll bring
To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:
- 5+ years of experience in a product management capacity, including 3+ years of domain experience in paid search marketing or strategy.
- Strong understanding of the search space and the needs of customers and clients, within-category product placement, and adjacent-category product placement.
- Outstanding business analytics capabilities, with the ability to articulate the information to deliver confident business cases, presentations and recommendations.
- Ability to build strong business relationships and networks, supported by a pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit that makes you take initiative and follow through on commitments to achieve results.
- Solid track of fast-paced environment experience, along with the delivery of exceptional client engagement services.
