About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to be part of a fast-moving, early-stage business where no two days are the same. You’ll provide broad, hands-on support across winemaking, production, cellar operations, and compliance. From operating dealcoholisation equipment to managing spirit registers and conducting wine analysis – you’ll be immersed in every part of the process.

This diversity offers deep insight into the full workings of a beverage start-up, with real opportunities for growth within both the Low & No and Edenvale businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the Golo dealcoholisation plant and assist with innovation in wine processing and finishing.

We act as recruiters for Low & No

Perform hands-on cellar duties: wine additions, wine transfers, export loading, and tanker operations.

Conduct wine analysis (including ripeness, sugar and acid content), interpret results, and make winemaking decisions.

Maintain accurate traceability through Vintrace and other systems for audit and accreditation purposes.

Maintain and manage the VAT register and spirit records to meet ATO compliance.

Oversee spirit handling, transfers, and loading for domestic and export markets.

Assist with inventory management and regular stocktakes.

Develop and maintain WHS procedures and ensure ongoing compliance.

Create work orders and manage production schedules when required.

Support and occasionally lead day-to-day operations during staff leave or travel.

Skills & Experience

2–3 years’ experience in winery cellar operations, ideally including vintage work.

Tertiary qualifications in Oenology, Chemistry, Engineering, Microbiology or a related technical field are advantageous.

Experience in a manufacturing or agricultural environment is highly regarded.

Excellent planning, time management, and organisational abilities.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Comfortable working independently and in a remote setting as needed.

Professional, positive and adaptable approach to teamwork and change.

A high level of accountability, initiative, and attention to detail.

Salary

$75,000 - $85,000 + super
