Demi Chef - 35-38 Hrs week

We have an opportunity available for an experienced Demi Chef to join our team. You could be working in our main Restaurant Azure kitchen or pool side at Breeze café or Summer Salt our Adults only pool. This is a casual position where you will be working mornings on the breakfast shift or afternoon/evening for lunch/dinner service.

We are looking for someone who can be flexible to work up to 35-38 Hrs. week, across 5 days.

Rosters are advised two weeks out so you can find the balance with work and home life. Your professionalism, passion, commitment and respect will be rewarded by our Executive Chef taking a keen interest in your career and future progression.

We offer a high quality, award winning dining experience with a strong emphasis on local fresh produce, our kitchen caters for multiple food and beverage outlets across the resort. We also have a large conference and events space.

Requirements

Previous experience in a Restaurant, Cafe or high volume catering environment
Full availability including weekends and public holidays
Able to commit to a min of 6 months or longer
Relevant commercial cookery qualifications
Able to adapt to busy periods with a sense of urgency
Willingness to learn great techniques
Able to follow recipes and plan your time accordingly
Actively demonstrate pride in your work
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards
Only applicants that have permanent resident status or unrestricted rights to work in Australia will be considered
