What you'll do:

System Administration
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for accurate asset receipt.
  • Ensure spec compliance of each asset and/or re-delivery of non-compliant assets.
  • Work with internal teams to process assets onto the platform ready for a thorough quality
  • checking process prior to customer sign-off and delivery.
  • Meet quality checking standards and publish final product per schedule.
System Maintenance
  • Create, maintain and update relevant process documentation as required.
  • Work with Viasat’s Content Management Team and other Viasat team members as instructed to understand the needs of customer airlines, whilst reporting to the Head of Content Services.
  • Establish and maintain up-to-date industry contacts and news.
Project Work
  • Support major project milestones such as test and production activities as required
  • Maintain clear communication, both verbal and written, to report the results of your work.
  • • Be available for occasional travel as and if required.

The day-to-day:

As a Content Asset Manager, joining an established team, you will be responsible for the receipt, management and quality control of assets across multiple categories, which include video, audio, games and HTML content as well as images, metadata, and more.

You will liaise with relevant third parties in the supply chain as well as our internal team and our airline customers as we continue to grow.

All changes to scope, deliverables, schedule, and acceptance criteria must be approved by Viasat’s Head of Content Services prior to being implemented and documented in a SOW amendment. Changes to scope, deliverables, schedule, acceptance criteria, and other related project items shall be agreed and approved between Viasat and Contractor as required.

What you'll need:

  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • An understanding of media formats (eg: MPEG, HTML) would be an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders, including Viasat airline customers.
  • Competence with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word as well as various other
  • software tools including Google Docs and Monday.com
  • Self-motivation so you can work with limited supervision once trained.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • A collaborative approach to sharing ideas and finding solutions.
