ICT Business Analyst

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst & Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role bridges business analysis and project coordination, ensuring seamless collaboration between stakeholders across our Hawaii and Mumbai offices.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating cross-functional communication, and supporting project planning and execution.

Responsibilities
  1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for new and existing software features.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and process reviews to understand business workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Having Sound knowledge of proprietary HRMS application (HR Symphony).
  1. Documentation & Communication
  • Create and maintain detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams to guide software development.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of all project requirements, decisions, and workflows throughout the lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in using Atlassian confluence tool for documentation of projects and maintaining project communication.
  1. Cross-Team Coordination
  • Act as a bridge between Hawaii and Mumbai teams, coordinating tasks and communication across time zones.
  • Facilitate effective knowledge transfer, task handoffs, and project updates to ensure continuity and clarity.
  1. Project Management Support
  • Assist in project planning, milestone scheduling, and deliverable tracking.
  • Identify and communicate risks, blockers, and dependencies to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Using JIRA for tracking projects, generating metric and managing projects.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Serve as a liaison between the product and technical teams to ensure mutual understanding and alignment on goals.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  1. Reporting & Metrics
  • Track project progress, manage requirement changes, and monitor issue resolution.
  • Deliver regular reports and updates to management and stakeholders on project status and coordination efforts.
About you
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work across different time zones and coordinate with globally distributed teams.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
Relevant Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar role in a tech-driven environment.
