Located in the heart of Dunsborough, we are looking to strengthen our kitchen team with a dedicated full-time Cook to help us continue delivering outstanding food and service.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cook who takes pride in preparing authentic Indian cuisine and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to prepare and cook a range of traditional Indian dishes, manage food preparation and presentation, uphold strict hygiene and safety standards, and contribute to the smooth daily operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and present menu items including breads, mains (vegetarian, vegan, seafood, and meat), and accompaniments in line with Oh! Delhi’s quality standards.
  • Participate in menu development, recipe refinement, and daily specials.
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations during service periods (primarily evenings).
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in accordance with regulations and restaurant policy.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage waste effectively.
  • Support and train junior staff, contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Comply with WA health and safety regulations and internal procedures.
Selection Criteria & Skills
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ full-time experience as a Cook or Chef in a similar role (Indian cuisine experience highly regarded).
  • Strong understanding of Indian cooking techniques, spice combinations, and traditional dishes (including breads such as naan and roti).
  • Proven ability to produce consistent, high-quality dishes under pressure.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Food handling and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain).
