Over the course of the years, Seadar Contractors have carried out high-quality work on numerous projects of varying complexity while building up the experienced workforce, capable of delivering formwork, concrete and steel fixing packages in the infrastructure and civil engineering sector.
We are currently recruiting a skilled Building Construction Supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities- Direct, plan, coordinate construction activities, oversee scheduling, organising and implementation of construction projects
- Supervises construction sites and organises and coordinates the material and human resources.
- Oversee the construction of multiple Civil Construction projects
- Assists construction managers, architects and surveyors in planning and organisation
- interpreting plans, working drawings and specifications. Revise and edit as required, interpret regulations and codes of practice
- Co-ordinates work programmes
- Calculates costs and estimates time scales
- Coordinate and manage trades, suppliers, and contractors to meet deadlines
- Determining labour requirements, materials planning and logistics
- inspect work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards
- Ensure all projects comply with building codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
- Conduct site inspections, problem-solve issues, and maintain high-quality control
- Maintain strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ensure budget and timelines are met while maintaining construction efficiency
- Handle on-site troubleshooting and issue resolution to keep projects on track
- Evaluating construction methods and determining the cost-effectiveness of each plan
- Diploma level qualifications or extensive practical experience work experience in a similar role (5+ years)
- knowledge of the methods, materials and tools required for construction projects
- Ability to interpret technical plans, blueprints and drawings.
- Knowledge of public safety and security policies, procedures and strategies.
- Strong Communication, organisations and problem-solving skills
- Attention to Detail, critical thinking and math skills
