Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive expansion in VIC and NSW.

Job Description

Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Senior Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with key clients. You will work closely with internal teams to develop tailored logistics solutions that align with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth across VIC & NSW
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in key industry sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customised logistics solutions
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure seamless onboarding of new clients
  • Meet and exceed revenue and growth targets, providing regular reporting to leadership

The ideal candidate is a highly driven and commercially astute sales professional with a strong background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain solutions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of delivering growth.

  • Proven experience in a senior business development role within logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding
  • Strong network and existing relationships within key industries
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams
  • A results-driven approach with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets
