This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Australian business and play a key role in shaping its financial and commercial future. As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will oversee the finance functions and support the day-to-day operations of the business, providing you an 'under the hood' view of a business that is expanding globally.
This is a dynamic organisation with a diverse portfolio of operations. They have experienced significant growth over the past few years and are on an exciting trajectory that shows no signs of slowing down.
Working closely with the GM Finance and CFO, this role provides commercial advice to senior leaders within across the business, with a focus on identifying performance improvement opportunities and enhancing the speed & quality of decision making across the group.
Your responsibilities are below but are not limited to:
- Oversee Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting. Ensuring accurate, insightful, and timely financial reports are prepared and presented.
- Manage Month-End Processes. Coordinate and lead the monthly closing processes, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the deliverables.
- Governance and Reporting, ensuring maintenance.
- Oversee Cashflow Forecasting. Maintaining oversight of the company's cash flow position.
What you'll bring with you:
- CA qualified
- 10+ years of commercial/business partnering experience in FMCG/Retail or related industries.
- Strong Excel, Business Intelligence and ERP skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial forecasting.
- Commercially savvy with the ability to work at pace and challenge when needed.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation skills.
- A strategic mindset, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
The successful candidate will be a proven people leader and have a flair for fostering and promoting a transparent and consultative business partnering approach. Whilst also bringing a hands-on approach to support the team.
