Olympus Australia is looking for a Pricing & Commercial Analyst to support our Corporate Account Group, Commercial teams, and broader business operations.

In this role, you will work closely with the Commercial Manager - Pricing and Financial Solutions to collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to strategic pricing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed pricing analysis and develop corporate rebate models.
  • Produce business case simulations and insightful reports to aid business decision-making.
  • Oversee pricing data management and governance.
  • Lead annual price reviews to ensure alignment with market conditions and business objectives.
  • Resolve customer pricing discrepancies and ensure accurate alignment in SAP systems.
  • Maintain pricing structures and update customer price files.
  • Generate reports and lead regional meetings with APAC.

Data Management & Process Optimization:

  • Ensure pricing accuracy with rigorous quality assurance checks.
  • Generate critical reports (e.g., equipment and pricing reports) using SAP.
  • Streamline pricing workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Contract & Rebate Management:

  • Manage rebate trackers and collaborate with finance and account teams to validate rebate claims.
  • Generate detailed performance reports and ensure contract compliance for auditors.

In addition, you will provide support on special projects, including market and competitor analysis, troubleshooting, and addressing other evolving business needs as they arise.

What we are looking for:

You will consider yourself a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a passion for pricing strategies and commercial analysis with:

  • Exceptional commercial acumen with strong emphasis on, and expertise in, pricing.
  • Experience in a Commercial, Pricing and Business Partnering based role, with broad emphasis on pricing management.
  • Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency in other MS Office products Word, Power Point, Share Point etc.
  • Sound system skills with ability to extract financial information from ERP Systems, preferably SAP.
  • Experienced with Power BI, Salesforce CPQ, SAP
  • Contract management expertise.
  • Proven financial modelling and business analysis skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to identify and help develop commercial opportunities
  • Strong organization and documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to enable positive and close working relationships with key customers and senior stakeholders both internally and externally alike.
