IT Manager
A full-time permanent opportunity for an IT Manager, with a broad focus across Infrastructure, ERP, Data and Business Partnering, for an established professional services firm based in Sydney.
Managing a small applications team, you will be responsible for the acceleration and optimization of IT systems and processes within this Sales & Distribution company.
Skill set / experience needed -- Lead the local IT team in Australia
- Proven IT experience covering both Infrastructure and Applications
- Project experience covering ERP implementation, migration, and integrations
- Experienced in system consolidation and process improvement projects
- Develop a local IT strategy aligned with the business strategy
- Build relationships and work with internal customers to ensure solutions are technically sound, issues are identified and resolved, and projects are delivered within budget and on time
- Responsible for effective preparation, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of site IT hardware, software and related infrastructure
- Lead the development, maintenance and support of local ERPs and other local business systems (e.g. Data & Analytics, Digital Experience)
- Assess business process requirements and flow of the business work to identify possible application solution improvements
- Identify improvements and actively participate in the implementation of technical solutions
- Manage local IT budget and vendor relationships
- Communicate the status of activities with the team, peers, management, internal and external customers
- Improve productivity and execution of the local IT team
- Provide regular status updates to multiple levels of management
- Work with other global and regional IT team members to create, measure, and report progress toward established key performance metrics
- Strong Project Management & Change Management expertise
- Clear & effective communication & interpersonal style
