About the OpportunityWe are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, working collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality meals across our dining outlets.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining standards within your section and contributing to a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.Our venue offers a variety of dining experiences including bistro service, functions and events, and high-volume service periods.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present high-quality dishes consistently
- Manage your section efficiently during service
- Maintain stock rotation and minimise wastage
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist across all kitchen areas as required
- Support and mentor junior staff, apprentices, and cooks
- Contribute to a positive and team-focused kitchen culture
- Previous experience as a Demi Chef or Chef de Partie
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Strong knife skills and solid cooking techniques
- Ability to perform under pressure in a busy kitchen
- Team-focused attitude with good communication skills
- Physically capable of lifting and manual kitchen tasks
- Full working rights in Australia
