This is a contract on-site role for a Front Staff / Retail Assistant at Material World in Chatswood, NSW. A position with us gives you a chance to utilise your exceptional sales skills as well as fulfil your passion for working with textiles and soft furnishings.
Pay: $23.96 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week

In order to be successful in this position we require the following:
- Strong retail experience
- Knowledge of curtains & blinds, textiles & colour.
- Energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work Saturdays
- Must have the right to live and work in Australia
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 2 years retail experience
- Window Furnishing Knowledge
- Computer skills essential
- Knowledge of POS software highly desirable
- Ability to work to KPI's essential
- Background in interiors or the design Industry highly desirable
Pay: $23.96 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 2 years (Preferred)
- Working towards retail sales targets and KPIs: 2 years (Preferred)
