Project Controls Engineer

Aiming at tackling difficult and challenging projects, we deliver on-site services to maintain: water treatment plants; bridges; tanks; pipelines; cranes, concrete, steel structures and much more We are currently looking for an experienced Project Controls Engineer.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and track all cost-related activities within the Sydney Water, Confluence Water, West Region Delivery Team, RM Watson, Service Stream, Gouges, Downer, M2P Engineering, River Construction, Port Authority, UGL, John Holland, Endeavor Energy, ZPMD, etc.
About the Role
Establish communication with site team to receive weekly status of works and physical progress data. Prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts, providing insights into project financial performance. Prepare, assess, and submit accurate monthly payment claims to clients, ensuring that all costs are properly documented and justified.Support the tendering process by providing detailed cost breakdowns and contributing to bid strategy meetings.
About YouA relevant engineering degree.
At least 2- 5 years project controls experience (preferably on-site construction related to planning, scheduling, progress measurement, earn value analyses and reporting).
Sound understanding of Project Controls processes particularly critical path method, principles of Earn Value system based on tangible quantities, unit rates and ‘Rules of Credits.
Proficiency in Cost related software desirable (SAP or JDE, FPM, Rover, Minerva, CATs)Only candidates with relevant skill set and experience will be considered.
