Your Impact

As the General Manager, you will work closely with our existing Chermside leadership team, while also spearheading the creation of exciting new opportunities. This includes the development of newly established Heads of Department roles and their expanding teams, ensuring we attract and nurture passionate and driven professionals.

Your leadership is imperative to the success of our Chermside pre-sale phase. You will be responsible for driving sales targets, building community awareness, generating excitement and anticipation, and ensuring the long-term leadership and development of our flagship location.

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience leading a team within the health and fitness industry, with a strong understanding of health, fitness, and wellness components.
  • Achievement of Targets: Ensure your location achieves all sales, retention, growth, and revenue budgets or targets on a monthly and yearly basis in collaboration and under guidance of our National Sales and Operations Manager.
  • Delegation & Compliance: Delegate responsibilities to the appropriate employees while upholding all Total Fusion policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values.
  • Performance Improvement: Develop initiatives to address underperformance and achieve projected profit and loss statements within company procedures.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure our premium facilities are maintained and any issues are promptly resolved.
  • Team Management: Recruit, onboard, train, and retain staff members, delivering training and mentoring for Department Heads and regular meetings to engage and motivate your teams.
  • Compliance & Payroll: Oversee staff rostering, approve leave, and manage fortnightly payroll, ensuring ongoing compliance across the location and the team.
  • Marketing: Manage internal and external marketing in line with the location’s social media strategy.
  • Financial Management: Proven ability to manage overall budgets and financials, including member movement, growth, and retention strategies.
  • Facility Oversight: Expertise in overseeing large-scale facilities with multiple service areas and compliance requirements such as crèche, retail, gym floor, wellness services, and complex equipment.
  • Software Utilisation: Ability to understand, manage, and effectively utilise software systems and programs.
  • Team Culture: Strong commitment and belief in driving and upholding an exceptional team culture, focusing on the fulfilment and development of your people.
