The Role

This position will steer the FP&A function as well as support financial decision making around new ventures. In brief, the candidate will overlook the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and consolidation of 3-way budgets and forecasts for multiple entities
  • Support the preparation of monthly profit forecasts and performance reporting
  • Lead the creation of Power BI dashboards and improve FP&A governance
  • Prepare board packs and associated reporting
  • Partner with operational executives to provide financial advice to support decision making
  • Assist the CFO and executives with due diligence around M&A activity and commercial projects
  • Assist with post-implementation ERP change management
  • Document current process and identify opportunities to remove redundant processes and improve management reporting and month-end timelines

This is a 12M FTC with flexibility in working practices. The office works from home up to 2 days per week.

Your Profile
  • CA or CPA Qualified
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or infrastructure is highly regarded
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is highly regarded
  • Power BI experience is highly advantageous
  • Excellent technical accounting and excel skillset
  • Ability to handle a challenging change and growth environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Natural accounting intuition - ability to spot when numbers don't appear correct
