The Role
This position will steer the FP&A function as well as support financial decision making around new ventures. In brief, the candidate will overlook the following responsibilities:
- Lead the development and consolidation of 3-way budgets and forecasts for multiple entities
- Support the preparation of monthly profit forecasts and performance reporting
- Lead the creation of Power BI dashboards and improve FP&A governance
- Prepare board packs and associated reporting
- Partner with operational executives to provide financial advice to support decision making
- Assist the CFO and executives with due diligence around M&A activity and commercial projects
- Assist with post-implementation ERP change management
- Document current process and identify opportunities to remove redundant processes and improve management reporting and month-end timelines
This is a 12M FTC with flexibility in working practices. The office works from home up to 2 days per week.
Your Profile- CA or CPA Qualified
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or infrastructure is highly regarded
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is highly regarded
- Power BI experience is highly advantageous
- Excellent technical accounting and excel skillset
- Ability to handle a challenging change and growth environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Natural accounting intuition - ability to spot when numbers don't appear correct
