What you will do?:
- Prepare food in a high‑volume production environment, including bulk cooking and sandwich production
- Assist with the preparation and execution of menu items in line with recipes and standards
- Follow standardised recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality
- Conduct temperature checks, food labelling and manage cross‑contamination
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
- Ensure compliance with WHS and Food Safety regulations
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily production and service targets
More about you:
- Previous experience as a Cook or Commis Chef in a high‑volume or production kitchen
- Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Commercial Cookery for Commis Chef position
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior chefs
- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
