Delaware North Australia is hiring casual Cooks and Commis Chefs to join our high‑performing culinary teams at Perth Airport. These roles suit hands‑on kitchen professionals who enjoy working in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments, including production and catering kitchens.

Our operations run 24 hours a day, so flexibility across early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays is essential.

What you will do?:

  • Prepare food in a high‑volume production environment, including bulk cooking and sandwich production
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of menu items in line with recipes and standards
  • Follow standardised recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality
  • Conduct temperature checks, food labelling and manage cross‑contamination
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
  • Ensure compliance with WHS and Food Safety regulations
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily production and service targets

More about you:

  • Previous experience as a Cook or Commis Chef in a high‑volume or production kitchen
  • Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Commercial Cookery for Commis Chef position
  • Solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • Willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior chefs
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
