We are Santa Monica, a CBD based restaurant & bar, and we’re looking for a Chef for a busy Monday to Friday venue.
From 7am we open our doors to Santa Monica Restaurant where we have a beautiful menu comprising of gourmetPizzas, American-style burgers, Burritos, Tacos and imported beverages.

What we require: To work consistently well within the team environment
Motivate the team and help each staff member to grow in a way that benefits the company and themselvesMaintain compliance of procedures and maintain the quality of the produce
Adhere to company methods and be part of the growth of the company
Oversee all cook operations successfully with attention to detail
Always meet food safety/health and safety/city council laws and state laws.
Example how to cook foods and what procedures are in place
Improve food quality and ensure high quality is consistent
Communication about food preparation issues with managers and staff
The Successful candidate will possess the following skills: Strong work ethics, commitment to learn and further your cooking skills.
Work well under pressure in a high volume a la carte restaurant.Challenge driven with a strong passion for continued learning.
Diploma of Hospitality Management or 3 year’s experience as a chef
Personal Requirements:
Well-presentedHighly developed interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Consistently display a positive "can do" attitude
