Finance Manager - Temp to Perm
The Company
Our client is a large Australian business with overseas operations. They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager for an interim position with an immediate start. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong technical accounting skills who can step in and make an impact quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial control and compliance issues.
- Supervise month-end close processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reports.
- Work closely with shared services or external consultants on taxation and regulatory matters.
- Support treasury management activities and group reporting requirements.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a small team.
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or Netsuite.
- Ability to handle complex tax-related matters, including liaising with external auditors or tax authorities.
- Previous experience in a multinational organization or large corporate environment preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines.
