Automotive Mechanic/ Inspector

Our automotive e-commerce company is here to change the game on how people buy used cars in Australia. As a part of our facility in Laverton North, join as an Automotive Inspector inspecting newly purchased/sourced vehicles for defects and liaising with our sourcing team.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect newly acquired used cars at the facility for mechanical/ other integrity. Sometimes this might require travelling to our partner locations
• Inspect customer trade in vehicles
• Compare condition vs our company reconditioning standards and identify actions required
• Safety check over and test drives
• Identify required item repairs and cosmetic defects
• Diagnose and fault find any issues with vehicles
• Carry out required repairs to vehicles
• Quality control and final inspection pre delivery

• A current valid driver’s licence and can drive automatics and manuals
• Mechanical Knowledge and experience required
• Time management Skills
• Previous vehicle inspection experience required
• Clear verbal and written communications
• A basic understanding of Excel / G-sheets, familiarity with iPhones / iPads
• Self-motivated attitude, able to understand a job and work autonomously
• A personal mindset that anything is possible with the right support
• Excellent ability to collaborate between teams
