Chef de Partie

Placed.au is seeking a full-time Chef de Partie for our client in Wallington, VIC. This role is responsible for organising and managing kitchen operations to ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service across a range of meal types and cuisines.

Job Description

• Preparing a range of meals for guests of the venue, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks to a high standard.
• Providing ideas and planning for specialised events and future menus.
• Ensure menus, food standards, procedures and processes are followed.
• Supervise and manage kitchen operations as required.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area is in line with current health regulation standards.
• Demonstrating passion for cooking and cuisine and using that passion to train others in the kitchen.
• Monitor kitchen stock and ensure supplies are ordered as required.
• Ensure food costs remain at a satisfactory level.

• Must hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher,

• Must have at least three (3) years of relevant work experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ability to supervise kitchen sections and support junior staff.

Salary Range

$70,000 – $80,000 per annum (excluding superannuation)
