Position Description:
The Office Manager is responsible for co-ordinating administrative and support operations at Airside Logistics, Mount Isa. All staff are responsible for working in a manner which ensures the safety of themselves, our clients and the public and in accordance with all safety relevant legislation and organisational requirements.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is an important position within the Airside Logistics team. The role is relied upon to provide efficient administration and support services and will require autonomy and flexibility in the approach to work.
Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing general office operations;
- Producing reports for industry compliance as directed;
- drafting new contracts to support aviation industry compliance.
- Co-ordinating flight dispatch including radio communications with Ramp, Pilot, Airport Authorities
- Coordinating meetings, managing staff schedules;
- Maintaining records for aircraft maintenance and service;
- Overseeing the calendar for inspection schedules and related activities;
- Supervising, mentoring, training, and coaching office staff and delegating assignments to ensure
- Purchasing office supplies and equipment and maintaining proper stock levels.
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma
- At least 2 years of employment on full - time basis
