Software Engineer

Capacion Pty Ltd (T/A Property Shell) is a Melbourne-based software company providing market-leading technology for the Property Development industry. We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing, state-of-the-art development team on a full-time basis.
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will shape the future direction of our software platform and drive industry change through innovative technology.
Salary: $145,000 per annum (including superannuation)
Responsibilities:- Write, test and support full stack applications using multiple technologies
- Build services that are secure and scalable by design
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Create clean, usable, accessible user interfaces
- Develop automated tests verifying your code
- Participate in team planning and software design sessions
- Minimum 2 years of software development experience
- Strong MVC framework experience (Laravel/Yii2/Symfony/Django or similar)
- Experience with relational databases (SQL/MySQL/Postgres)
- Ability to take ownership in creating features and developing high quality production ready code
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with React.js or Vue.js, or a strong willingness to learn
- Familiarity with Git workflow management
- Strong understanding of CSS (SCSS, SASS, etc.)
- Knowledge of AWS
- Strong user experience (UX) design skills
- Familiarity with iOS or Android app development
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
