Junior Field Service Technician

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Junior Field Service Technician to join our team. This field-based role involves working at customer sites across Melbourne, focusing on laboratory testing, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.

While a background in science, engineering, or similar fields is beneficial, it is not required. What matters most is your positive attitude, willingness to learn, and mechanical aptitude.

• Perform laboratory testing and accurately record results.
• Manage chemical inventory, including stock checks and placing orders.
• Conduct equipment checks, perform basic maintenance, and recalibrate or reprogram as needed.
• Ensure chemical dosing equipment is operational, clean, and functioning correctly.
• Identify and resolve any faults, leaks, or equipment issues on-site.
• Provide detailed service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Support new and existing programs to meet customer performance goals.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and internal teams.

The Candidate

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A valid Australian driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.
• Experience in chemical handling or field-based work is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform hands-on tasks.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel as required.
