The position- Preparing general purpose financial statements on a consolidated basis;
- Preparing monthly financial management accounts and reports;
- Supervising and maintenance of company general ledgers, banking and cashflow;
- Prepare and lodge BAS, FBT, payroll tax and fuel tax
- Maintaining and developing company accounting policies and procedures and administering approved accounting standards;
- Preparing 3 way budget, profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow;
- Co-operating with external auditors and the preparation of the schedules for the half yearly review and annual audit;
- Ensuring that all the accounting and taxation transactions comply with current legislation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- CPA/CA qualified (or near completion)
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident status
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- A strong eye for detail and the ability to follow up.
- Great organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated success working collaboratively to achieve team goals
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite with Advanced Excel skills
