We have an opportunity for a Public Sector Transformation Consultant to join our Public Sector team:
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with State and Commonwealth clients to identify, analyse, and address complex business and technology challenges and opportunities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies and plans aligned with organizational goals, user needs, industry best practices, and policy frameworks.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to generate insights and inform strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and execute key initiatives effectively.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior executives and stakeholders in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, serving as a subject matter expert and valued team member.
- Bachelors’ Degree or higher in a related area is required– Economics, Business, Management Communications or Marketing preferred. Other degrees considered
- Technology experience, certifications or demonstrable passion to learn required
- The ability to gain baseline clearance is essential for client work and is required for this role.
- 2-5 years’ experience in a strategy consulting role or working within the State or Commonwealth government is required
- A Proven track record of solving complex problems and delivering measurable results is required.
- Experience or qualifications in Health are highly desirable
- SAFe Agile or other agile certification is desirable
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional structured problem-solving skills, utilising relevant frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of business case development and financial analysis fundamentals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation and report writing.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with project and delivery management tools is desirable.
- Demonstrated interest in technology and innovation.
- Passion for continuous learning and a commitment to helping public sector clients solve challenges and drive transformation.
