Contract Manager/Administrator

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
The Contract Administrator organizes people/labor/contractors according to a contract request which includes preparing, analysing, negotiating, revising and monitoring contracts for customers, suppliers and staff.
Prepare, review, and update contracts with vegetable and fruit suppliers, delivery services, and buyers to ensure all terms are clear and agreed upon.Negotiate terms with suppliers, buyers, and delivery contractors, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
Track contract terms (e.g., delivery dates, pricing) and resolve any issues or inquiries from vendors, customers, or delivery services.
Monitor and manage delivery schedules to ensure vegetables and fruits arrive on time and meet quality standards as per contract terms.
Resolve payment disputes by working with contractors, suppliers, and finance teams to ensure proper invoicing and payments are made.
Coordinate logistics for vegetable and fruit deliveries, including organizing transport arrangements (pick-ups/drop-offs) and ensuring timely delivery.
Monitor supplier and contractor performance to ensure they are meeting contract obligations related to delivery timelines and product quality.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and local laws for the transportation, handling, and sale of vegetables and fruits.
Maintain organized contract records and delivery logs to ensure easy access to contract details, delivery schedules, and payment history.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, buyers, and delivery teams to ensure smooth operations and address any issues related to contracts or deliveries
Expected knowledge- Knowledge of operations, services and activities of negotiations and contract compliance
- Knowledge of state and local laws, codes and regulations
- Knowledge of modern principles and practices of negotiations and contract compliance
- Competency in establishing and using agreement monitoring system, administration systems, data bases, Microsoft applications.
- Good communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Customers.
- Experience in negotiating contracts with agriculture/farmers suppliers and hospitality /retail clients
Minimum AQF Advanced Diploma or Diploma, or at least three years of relevant experience
