Facilities Manager
Salary: $75,000 plus 11.5% superannuation
Our client, Pacific Facility Services, is a majority indigenous owned national vertically integrated services business, providing service solutions across metropolitan, regional and remote areas of Australia. Company specializes in cleaning services, security services, home care and property management and is looking to fill a full-time position for a skilled and experienced Facilities Manager.
Company requires a professional and experienced Facility Manager to organise, control and coordinate, manage and supervise the operation of business premises and facilities. The Facility Manager will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of Pacific Facility Services.
Minimum Requirements:AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
What you will be responsible for:- Managing facility management functions
- Project management and supervising and organising work of contractors
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards
- Managing OH&S and risks
- Collecting, analyzing and reporting statistical data to provide accurate and current assessment of facility management objectives
- Managing all contracts to ensure they are reviewed on a regular basis
- Managing operational costs
- Monitoring all maintenance programs and managing preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance
- Preparing, reviewing, and giving initial approval on repair and maintenance budgets, contracts, expenditures and purchase orders related to the facilities
- Allocating tasks, managing work/ purchase orders and approvals
- Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead an improvement
- Ensuring quality and accreditation guidelines are consistently maintained
- Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with consequences
- Inspecting construction work in progress to ensure compliance with plans, specifications and quality standards
- Financial forecasting/ budgeting
- Advising on energy efficiency and cost effectiveness

- have experience in managing service contracts and multiple suppliers
- have time management skills and be proactive
- be able to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
- Good computer literacy
