High Reach Forlift operator

AWX is seeking a motivated forklift operator with high reach experience for ongoing long term role with our client based in Stapylton!

About the Role:

• We are looking for a confident high reach forklift operator with double deep experience holding a current LF forklift ticket for the distribution facility of this busy manufacturing plant based near Yatala.
• Your new ongoing role with a view to go permanent will give you work life balance as the hours are 06:30 - 14:30
• You will be picking orders using an RF scanner and manually packing pallets operating a high reach forklift, operating a counterbalance forklift you will be loading and unloading trucks & putting away stock in double racking systems.
• Previous experience picking orders using an RF scanner, this is a newly introduced system so previous knowledge of implementation of RF scanning in a previous role will be a distinct advantage as you will know the pit falls and obstacles of a new system.
• Ensuring products are not damaged when loaded & are stored in a safe manner.
• In down time you will be operating the industrial vacuum to keep this new facility pristine (full training given)

Successful Candidates:

• Current forklift (LF) licence with high reach experience (up to 8 metres)
• Previous experience working around double deep racking systems.
• Using a counterbalance forklift
• A safety focused attitude as you will be working in a busy warehouse.
• Good knowledge of using RF scanners.
• Safe manual handling skills
• Hard working, punctual, reliable, clean & presentable
• Able to understand, written and verbal instructions & complete clearly understood paperwork.
• To be considered, you must be suitably qualified hold an LF licence.
