Senior Quality Assurance Specialist - Kwinana Beach

Overview:
The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for accurately track, log, and distribute releases of both internal and external documentation including metadata. This position is an Individual Contributor. The role directly reports to the Quality and Welding Manager Australia and routinely interacts with Engineering.
This role is responsible for all internal employee training on the current Electronic Document Management System.
Responsibilities:
- Support the National QA/QC Manager in reviewing pre-contract inquiries, evaluating potential quality risks and opportunities, and submitting pre-contract quality deliverables.
- Understand Contract Specification Requirements
- Provide project support in developing QA/QC deliverables, such as Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), record drawings, QA/QC procedures, and project-specific Quality Plans.
- Compile project Manufacturing Data Books
- Generate and define Subcontract Requisitions for Quality related subcontracts. Review subcontractor’s ITP’s and Quality Management Plans
- Maintain CB&I's ISO Quality certifications through internal and external audits, continuous improvement, management reviews, training, and record keeping.
- Actively participate in CB&I Continuous Improvement Programs and other initiatives that support the achievement of company and project goals
- Report the company's Quality KPIs and evaluate them regularly to ensure they meet company goals.
- Conduct Quality induction and training sessions.
- Responsible for archiving project records.
- Understand requirements for handover and turnover in accordance with project contractual requirements.
- Other tasks as required and directed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Quality related role
- Trade or Engineering background
- Conversant with international Quality Standards
- Preference will be given to personnel with experience in local and international construction codes.
- Certified Lead Auditor
