We specialise in a wide range of tiling services for both residential and commercial properties, as well as construction sites. Our work includes tiling for newly built properties, bathrooms, kitchens, swimming pools and surrounding areas. Whether it's wall or floor tiling, indoors or outdoors, we are experienced in delivering high-quality finishes that meet both aesthetic and functional needs.
On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Wall Tiler to be part of their growing team.
Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying waterproofing before tiling.
- Measure and cut tiles accurately to fit spaces using hand and power tools.
- Lay and secure tiles on walls and floors using appropriate adhesives and techniques.
- Apply grout and sealants to finish tiled surfaces and ensure durability.
- Remove damaged tiles, prepare the surface, and install replacements as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure proper tile placement.
- Ensure all work meets safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with builders, contractors, and clients to achieve design and functional requirements.
- Keep tools and equipment in good working condition to ensure efficiency and quality workmanship.
- Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in wall and floor tiling.
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and laying tiles with precision.
- Strong knowledge of tiling techniques, adhesives, grouting, and waterproofing.
- Capable of resolving issues, such as uneven surfaces or complex layouts, during the installation process.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including bending, kneeling, and lifting materials.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Experienced with tile-cutting tools, grinders, and other necessary equipment..
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 + superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
