Full Time Contract Management Administrator

Salary: $87,500 per annum plus Superannuation

SUMMARY

Via a proven track record of managing wide ranging supply chain related business needs including - Managing existing contracts and the P&L of those with marginal costings. Client Relations and Strategic planning, the successful candidate will be skilled at balancing the needs of the business today, whilst planning for and delivering on potential cost saving initiatives with existing contracts and new business growth targets.
This role will lead and deliver upon plans for managing costs and profit in Australia. By successfully managing contracts. Also, while securing and monitoring new business through profitability the Contract Management Administrator will ensure that Inventory Concepts manages its supply chain and logistics clients future forecasting inputs.
The role will ensure the successful management of all sub-contractors and profitability objectives. As well as expanding services within contracts that exist. The successful candidate will develop wide ranging interaction with all levels of the organization with particular focus on building strong external relationships.

This will ensure that Inventory Concepts is profitable, and our products and services are positioned and priced to best support our strategic plans for growth.

The Contract Management Administrator will report to the Managing Director, as well as being closely integrated with our logistics teams.

DUTIES
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to set and deliver against annual business plans that cover key business metrics including safety, profitability, business compliance, client satisfaction & retention, growth, and the continued digitization of our business.
  • Work closely with supply chain teams and sub-contractors to coordinate and deliver inventory management plans.
  • Lead and manage all sub-contractors to ensure that our existing contracts are retained.
  • Collect data and create model profitable new business models and solutions.
  • Be responsible for all contracts and costings, and assist in data analysis for tenders, bids & RFQ responses.
  • Analyse data to plan and research cost down initiatives.
  • Identify through data analysis new models for inventory management contracts.
  • Develop a business strategy and negotiate all contracts.
  • Continually develop and refine our value proposition so that our products and services align with market’s needs.
  • Promote market awareness of Inventory Concepts inventory management business processes.
  • Negotiate the delivery of existing contract extensions, new contracts and complex RFQ responses.
  • Manage, at a senior level, client relationships and communications with existing and prospective clients, with a strategic focus on growth and service expansion.
  • Ensure that contractual obligations for existing clients are understood and consistently achieved by our subcontractors.
  • Continually assess and refine all contracts as part of our retention and growth plans.
  • Manage and co-ordinate external IT software programmers to develop inhouse propriety software.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Multi-functional supply chain experience in inventory management.
  • A demonstrable track record of strong financial and overall business acumen.
  • Proven Business Development capability with consistent new business wins
  • 3PL Contract management skills and experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder and customer relationship skills.
  • Experienced in the retention and profitable growth of existing clients and the acquisition of new business contracts.
  • Formal qualifications, a relevant degree in IT and or business-related fields, in addition to operations experience in logistics or supply chain roles.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Business Development / Sales / Negotiation training and accreditation
  • Computer and software skills regarding managing data and potential to develop inhouse software programs.
  • Forklift and MHE experience and understanding.
  • Container handling experience, both unloading and loading.
  • Excellent understanding of distribution centres and logistics facilities.
  • A demonstrable track record in WHS and its applications in fast paced and dynamic distribution facilities.
