Job Description

Role Details:

• Lead a large payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and award conditions
• Enhance payroll systems and procedures to streamline payroll processing
• Resolve any payroll related issues, whilst communicating effectively with internal stakeholders regarding payroll matters
• Produce comprehensive monthly and year-end reports to management
• Provide regular training and support to payroll team members

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Team Lead should have:

• 4+ years of end-to-end payroll experience with substantial experience managing teams.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and awards
• Strong attention to detail
• A commitment to continuous improvement and system enhancement
• Experience processing payroll in larger, high-volume organisations
• Agility and ability to resolve payroll-related issues
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency's in a range of payroll systems, with an ability to easily pick-up any new systems
