- Assess and design network architecture
- Plan and implement complex network solutions
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, hardware, software, and protocols
- Size and manage network capacity, and plan for future network changes
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Continuously improve network performance by collecting and analyzing network data and identifying areas for improvement
- Contribute to the development of new network standards, as required
