Job description:

• Oversee daily operations of the travel agency to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Handle budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting to maintain profitability and financial health.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, and tour operators to secure the best deals for clients.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and exclusive offers.
• Provide expert travel advice and assist clients in booking flights, accommodations, and tour packages.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and enhance brand visibility.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
• Monitor staff performance, provide training, and offer constructive feedback to enhance team efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, travel regulations, and emerging destinations to keep the agency competitive.

Qualifications/Attributes:

• Must hold an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism management, or a related field or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of the qualification.
• Must have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.
• Strong knowledge of travel booking systems, software, and reservation processes.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
