Join a leading building materials manufacturer known for its commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. With a strong reputation in the industry. We're seeking a skilled Forklift/Reclaim Operator to join the team. If you're an experienced Forklift Operator from a production environment with strong manual handling skills and attention to detail and quality, this could be the perfect role for you!

What you'll do

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate 8T four tyre forklifts to handle building material packs up to 3T.
• Quality Control & Inspection: Assess building material for defects, record reclaimed production, and follow strict HFI reporting.
• Manual Handling & Sorting: Physically flip and building material to recover quality stock.
• Paperwork & Reporting: Accurately complete documentation and update tracking records.
• Equipment Operation: Operate Vaculifts, scissor tables, and tow buggies as part of the process.
• Teamwork & Communication: Work closely with supervisors and QA teams to maintain quality standards.
• Housekeeping & Organisation: Maintain a clean, organised product area for safety and efficiency.

• Aside from the below points, you will have familiarity of a production/manufacturing environment. You will have a keen eye for detail when reviewing product and passionate to adhere to quality, safety and performance standards. A willingness to move across different departments and onto different shift patterns is highly desirable.
• Forklift Licence and experience (Mandatory) Skill and competency in operating forklifts up to 8T in a production environment.
• Physically Fit & Capable This role involves lifting, flipping, and sorting building materials such as plasterboard sheets. Ability to complete Drug and Alcohol Screening and Fitness assessment if required
• Attention to Detail Must identify and record defects or conditions accurately.
• Safety-Conscious Mindset Understanding of Lock-Out Tag-Out exclusion zones, and PPE requirements.
• Strong Documentation Skills Ability to complete basic reports and record reclaimed stock data.
• Team Player Must communicate effectively with supervisors and QA teams.
