The Role

The Civil Draftsperson will work closely with our Project Managers, Engineers, and Directors, contributing to various residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments across Australia.

The annual salary for this role is $75,000 - $78,000 plus superannuation.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and review detailed civil drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Coordinate with Engineers, Architects, and Stakeholders to ensure design intent is accurately translated.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for approvals and construction.
• Maintain drawing registers and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develops precise drawings and plans for civil engineering projects.
• Utilises computer-aided design (CAD) software to transform engineering sketches into digital formats.
• Produces topographical and elevation maps for sites designated for new civil construction.
• Integrates revisions and modifications into existing plans based on input from Engineers and Architects.
• Collaborates with project teams to ensure drafting outputs align with project timelines and technical requirements.
• Conducts site visits or reviews survey data to ensure accuracy and feasibility of drafted plans in real-world conditions.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least one (1) year of experience in a similar setting.
• Must hold an Advanced Diploma in the relevant field.
