About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven Contract Administrator to lead and oversee end-to-end contract lifecycle activities across Supaguard’s projects and supply agreements. This role is pivotal in aligning contract outcomes with operational and business objectives, managing risk, ensuring compliance, and driving high-performance delivery across Supaguard’s operations.
This is a key position that works closely with General Managers, the Production Manager, Sales Managers, and external stakeholders. It requires a sharp commercial mindset, exceptional stakeholder engagement, and deep contract management expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Development & Management- Develop, review, and lead negotiations for contracts, project scopes, and service agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Manage complex contract variations, ensuring they are assessed for risk, value, and compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Provide strategic input into pricing models, deliverables, and terms to safeguard commercial interests.
- Ensure all contracts meet legal, operational, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate contractual risks, embedding best practice governance across the contract lifecycle.
- Oversee contractor performance and report on compliance, delivery variations, and execution quality.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Operations Managers, Production Supervisors, Sales Managers, and Warehouse/Logistics leaders, to ensure contracts support operational delivery.
- Serve as the main point of contact for external contract stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and clients.
-Resolve high-level contract issues or disputes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Reporting & Executive Support- Prepare and present high-level reports, performance reviews, and analytical insights on contract delivery, supplier performance, and commercial outcomes to General Managers and the Managing Director.
- Advise senior leadership on contractual matters, project risks, and performance deviations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Lead the review and execution of lease agreements and service contracts for office and facility infrastructure across all operational sites.
- Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract management roles, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation, performance oversight, and risk mitigation.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks governing commercial contracts in Australia.
- Commercially astute with high-level negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong presence and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and strategic planning skills.
- Highly organised and outcomes-driven, with a commitment to delivering value and mitigating risk.
