What we’re after:We have an opening at Whitetower Digital for an experienced Developer Programmer to join the team. This role will expose the candidate to various Javascript technologies and system architectures built around various MERN stacks.
The role will include the preparation of development documentation, instruction manuals, assistance in system design, front end and back end development and exposure to popular virtual private servers (VPS) in the industry such as AWS.
In addition, the role also oversees and executes the delivery of project deliverables through running regular sprints and the candidate must have experience in working within an Agile methodology.

You have the skills and experience to design a system and work out all the requirements and necessary constraints and features without much assistance.
The Role:- Be able to start and finish projects individually as well as in teams
- Have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript
- You have at least 5 years of experience in building and maintaining a web-based software product
- You have at least 3 years of experience with React, Next.js, Typescript and NodeJS
- You are experienced across the whole stack, including front-end, back-end, SQL, CI/CD tools, containers & operations
- You have hands-on experience with AWS services including but not limited to ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudTrail and IAM
- At least 3 years experience working in Wordpress
- Expected to have solid experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud, contributing to the robust backend architecture necessary for scalable and secure application development.
- Exposure to a headless CMS stack like Contentful
- Experience in development of mobile applications in iOS and Android operating systems using React-Native.
- Ability to provide advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costings for recommending software purchases and upgrades
- Experience in the ability to create and maintain end-user website and software documentation. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers. Experience in collaborating with C-level executives, such as discussing and planning with the CTO.
- Experience in researching, consulting, analysing and evaluating system program requirements
- Professional working proficiency in Chinese Mandarin

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (not essential)
- Have at least 5 years experience as a web developer
